"When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things - not the great occasions - give off the greatest glow of happiness."

Yesterday my husband and I had the pleasure of going to the Walker Homestead’s
Old Fashioned New England Christmas by the Hearthside, hosted by Paul & Kris Casucci.
The fire was crackling, the hot cider was mulling, Christmas music was filling the air and Father Christmas was doing what he does best!
Among the special guests were Primitives by Maria, Storybook Author Mark Kimball Moulton, Pied Potter Hamelin & Kulina Folkart and of course our beloved Father Christmas!
Maria of Primitives by Maria has her primitive wares in the Ivy House located behind the homestead.
My 2013 photo taken on Santa’s lap by Mark Kimball Moulton, not only is he wonderful writer but a fabulous photographer as well! ♥
Today is the last day for the Old Fashioned Christmas by the Hearthside, you can visit them and partake in the merriment from 10-4.

No one captures feelings in photos like you....beautiful.....that is the most amazing Santa I have ever seen! If only we had lovely shops like this in Northwest Pennsylvania, maybe someday my dream will come true and I can spread the magic here with my own place!! Happy Thanksgiving ~Kriss~
