If you missed out on the Antiques & Primitive Goods Show over at the Walker Homestead in Brookfield, MA this past Saturday, I’ll share with you what I hope to have captured...the essence and feeling of this beautiful place. I feel very at peace when I come here, it’s like taking a step back in time. I had the opportunity to walk around the day before the show and capture these images while it was very still & quiet. There was a bit of mist in the air after a hard rain, and I think it made for some beautiful shots. Since I have so many photos from this event, I will start by devoting this post just to my sweet friends & hostesses from the Walker Homestead, Kris Casucci & Doreen Piechota.
They have beautiful gardens with many perennials & herbs.
A little peek inside the Ivy House.
A little peek inside the homestead.
Walker Homestead has been chosen as one of the 1000 great places to visit in Massachusetts by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. Go to www.massvacation.com to view the entire list!
I hope I enticed you to take a road trip out to Brookfield MA, it’s an historical jewel nestled in the countryside!
