My friend & co-worker Laura is a keeper of treasures from the past. She has a story for each little treasure she’s picked up, they all have some sort of unique and special meaning to her. She finds these vintage goodies either at the Brimfield Fair or at local antique shops in the area. She has a wide variety of vintage finds ranging from old postcards, watering cans, dolls, rolling pins and her sister’s quilts. I enjoyed photographing them, capturing a bygone era.
A friendly passerby recently dropped off a watering can. This person knew that this watering can (she inherited from her deceased friend) belonged right here on on Laura’s charming wrap around porch.
Laura’s tea stained bunting sets the tone to ring in the 4th! She got her bunting from some very good friends of mine over at Country Culture. Visit them, you’ll enter as a stranger, but leave feeling like an old friend!
Blessings, Bonnie
