On Sunday my friend Maria & I took a little drive to Brookfield MA see our friends at the Walker Homestead. This was day 2 of their “Garden Party. ” The sun was shinning, the birds were chirping and we were smiling! That sounded a bit corny but it was all true.It was a gorgeous day to be out and about!
I’ll show you some of the highlights from our day, I did go a wee bit over the top with photographs, but I’m a very visual person and I see life in pictures. ☺
Maria & her dog Lumpy sitting in front of the Ivy House.
Now I’m sitting!
You should see what’s inside this cute Ivy House!
Dried herbs, seeds, baskets, gourds, watering cans and antiques all tucked inside this cute little house.
Kris & Maria relaxing under the trellis. It happened to be Kris & Paul’s Anniversary that day, so Maria whipped them up a little dinner before we left.
I love to photograph colored bottles in the light. The blue of these bottles are so vibrant!
Some friendly folks popping in.
The next show at the homestead will be
“The Simple Treasures from the Past
Antiques & Primitive Goods Show”
On June 16.
Mark this one on your calendars!
This will be the end of Part 1, there’s just too many photos for one post!
Part 2 to follow soon~
Blessings, Bonnie
