I just love marsh mellow "Peeps"! Not just all of the gorgeous colours that they now come in, but of course how yummy they are! Did you know that they are made in Bethlehem, Pa. and every New Year's Eve at the city's First Night Celebration, they "drop" a giant Peep just like the Apple in Times Square! Oh, and BTW, your new blog is wonderful eye candy too! Becky
Becky, We just watched a show on the Food Network about how Peeps are made.It was our inspiration for this post! How fun to see a giant Peep drop like an apple on New Years Eve! They make them so colorful now too, and if you haven't tried the chocolate covered ones, you must!
Ahhhhh, the colors of Easter! Love Peeps! My daughter does not -- every Easter I put them in her basket (she is in her late 20's!) with a note from none other than Peep him(her)self -- asking how she could not like them..... Love the photos -- they are just lovely -- the colors so sharp and crisp! The strawberries looks delicious, too! Mmmmmmm.....
Bonnie what a beautiful and colorful treat this is! Of course with my terrible sweet tooth I am now craving one of everthing! You have such a talent for creating posts that are beautiful and bring back wonderful memories. Looking at this made me feel like a child again! ♥♥♥
