The snow had melted and it was a beautiful spring day yesterday in Cambridge, MA.
Ashley had participated in a Latin Certamen at Harvard University, the following photographs captured the beautiful architecture of the old buildings surrounding Harvard Yard and the beginnings of spring coming to Cambridge, MA.

Showing my ignorance here, I guess. Don't have any idea was a Certaman is or involves but to me an "honor" means ..Congratulations to Ashley!

It's like Jeopardy, but for Latin. Students (schools) competed against one another. Harvard was the host, they I assume, were looking for future Latin students to attend their university. It was a nice event, we were very proud.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post once again Bonnie! You have every right to be proud. TFS a piece of your personal life~
