Celebrating American History

I was in awe recently to be in my husband’s hometown of Lexington, MA on Patriot’s Day. I really did feel as if I had taken a little step back in time watching the reenactors playing out our American history.

Here are some of my favorite moments from that patriotic day.

“True patriotism springs from a belief in the dignity of the individual, freedom and equality not only for Americans but for all people on earth, universal brotherhood and good will, and a constant and earnest striving toward the principles and ideals on which this country was founded.”
~Eleanor Roosevelt

  3. Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what
I submitted and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything.
Do you have any suggestions for newbie blog writers?
    I'd genuinely appreciate it.
