My husband and I decided to hop in the car yesterday and go to the sleigh rally at
This was the perfect venue for all of this snow that we’ve had here in New England lately.
The fields with the horses prancing around with their jingle bells jingling and their hooves kicking up the snow, reminded me of a Currier & Ives Christmas card…ah…it was a quintessential New England scene!
Pictured below is Mark Kimball Mouton and myself. It was really neat to run into him there. Mark just published a new Christmas picture book, his photos are so magical!
You can visit Mark here:

My husband is looking very dignified here, I think this look suits him!
Take a stroll through the past at
you’ll be taken back to days gone by, when life was just a wee bit simpler.
Blessings, Bonnie

Beautiful pictures! What fun that would be to go on an old fashioned horse drawn sleigh ride!
ReplyDeleteAmazing pics.... so beautiful! Were the visitors to Sturbridge able to ride in those sleighs? What fun that must be! Interesting to see all the different types of sleighs that were there.... and those gorgeous buildings.... We were in Boston this weekend, but not for fun stuff like that. Left there to come home in a blizzard-like storm....thankfully we drove out of it fairly quickly. I truly love MA and all it offers!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, LOVE this post. Would love to visit there someday.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Bonnie ....I love Sturbridge Village and I was there with my hubby a few weeks ago and loving it all over again. He and I just sent this last weekend sick together . I wish I could have gone to this sleigh rally....the horses are beautiful <3
