Last weekend I snuck away back up to Vermont to a friend’s log home up in the Mad River Valley. There were 7 of us girls, and the laughter flowed as we sat on the porch gazing up at the stars and appreciating the peacefulness of our surroundings.
We hiked, we kayaked, we went to a Farmer’s Market, we picked blueberries, we got a personal tour of the Round Barn and we strolled through the gardens over at the Von Trapp Family Farm. It was fabulous!!
We were thrilled to get a personal tour of the Round Barn Farm! Please click the link below to see more of this gorgeous Inn! I’m coming back and staying here with my husband!
Behind the barn and Inn are beautiful lush gardens surrounding a serene looking pond. The staff was busy prepping the barn and the gardens for a wedding that was taking place in a few short hours. How lucky this bride and groom were to be married in such a beautiful place. ♥
Inside the barn, tables were set with simple yet elegant arrangements of flowers all grown on their property.
Thank-you to the Round Barn Farm for letting us take a peek in!
One of the girls summed up our weekend, it was a saying her Grandmother would often say…
“Moments like this….adds days to your life.” ~Luzia Mellow
