My friend Laura likes to collect vintage toys & vintage looking ornaments. I enjoyed photographing some of her little treasures the other night. I especially enjoyed spying her kitty all curled up under the tree trying to be undetected!
“Chocolate anyone?” Laura found these sweet looking Santa chocolates at
Home Goods
They’re almost to pretty eat!

Speaking of vintage…my daughter surprised me with this adorable old baby buggy that she found at a local antique shop. It was filled with faux presents & greens, too cute! It now sits on my porch.
This vintage tree comes from the same shop. Maybe I’ll be daring and do a tree like this one day…
This stocking was knitted by my grandmother when I was born. She knitted one for every grandchild. I think back on all of the little treasures Santa had left for me in it.
This pinecone tree belongs to another friend, I love how it seems to sparkle with the snowflakes & hanging icicles.
Of course I have to slip in some pictures of Harley, he’s always ready for a photo!
Thank-you for all of your kind words & comments~
Blessings, Bonnie
Love your posts Bonnie... always! Wishing you and your family the very best of Christmases!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you got Harley to pose like that that Bonnie, but what a star. Such a sweet pet!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous Bonnie! Your pictures just bring a smile to my face. They are always so warm, cozy & peaceful. Thank you for sharing your view through the camera lens with us. Always the bright spot of my day! ~Sarah~
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh, my Grandmother knit the EXACT same stocking for me and for each of my brothers when we were born. My Grandmother was born in New Bedford, Mass. and when my mom was growing up they lived in the little town of Marion, Mass.
ReplyDeleteI have many wonderful cousins who scatter all over the state. I am soooo taking a picture of mine and sending it to you! Maybe we're related!!! (through stockings!)..hee hee
Happy Holidays Bonnie, what great photo's! You take such beautiful pictures. All those vintage items are just gorgeous. I decorated my tree this in prim ornaments, then un-decorated the whole tree and re-decorated it with vintage ornaments I started collecting last year. I love it and I think I needed that sparkle that those bulbs give, and I added some tinsel as well. Reminds me of our tree when I was little.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your photo's.
Thanks for sharing them all!
Happy Holidays from our home to yours!
