My family has been wrapping me in their love as I have  recently come down with pneumonia  this Christmas, family & health is what I truly now appreciate.

~A Vintage Christmas

 My friend Laura likes to collect vintage toys & vintage looking ornaments. I enjoyed photographing some of her little treasures the other night. I especially enjoyed spying her kitty all curled up under the tree trying to be undetected!

Speaking of vintage…my daughter surprised me with this adorable old baby buggy that she found at a local antique shop. It was filled with faux presents & greens, too cute! It now sits on my porch.

This vintage tree comes from the same shop. Maybe I’ll be daring and do a tree like this one day…

This stocking was knitted by my grandmother when I was born. She knitted one for every grandchild. I think back on all of the little treasures Santa had left for me in it.

This pinecone tree belongs to another friend, I love how it seems to sparkle with the snowflakes & hanging icicles.

Of course I have to slip in some pictures of Harley, he’s always ready for a photo!

A Very Merry & Magical Home Tour

 My friend Sue has a very magical looking home at Christmas time. Her large collection of  whimsicle  Santa Claus figurines and dolls are seen all throughout her  home all mixed in with twinkly white lights, it looks so pretty at night!

As she was getting ready to host a holiday book club gathering  that evening, I  ran around and snapped a few of these merry & magical photos prior to all of the other guests arriving.
