Thanksgiving weekend was the perfect weekend to cut the tree down. We’ve had some above average temps here lately, and you just never know when the weather will change here in New England.
Thanksgiving was spent with my family. When life gets hectic and busy… getting together with my family never falls short of a good time! My sisters can always make me laugh, through good times through bad, they’re always there, I love my family!
My niece cooked this masterpiece, it tasted just as delectable as it looks!

Now that Thanksgiving is over it’s off to the tree farm in search of that perfect Christmas tree!
To tell you the truth they all start to look alike after awhile!
Harley wore his traditional Santa coat, but that didn’t stay on long.
I think we finally found it!
My son had the honors of cutting his first tree down this year.
I love the scents of the season…
and the twinkly lights!

Bonnie -- Your pics are just lovely.... looks like you had a great Thanksgiving! I always loved it when we cut down our own tree, but haven't done it in several years. I'd love to start doing it again at some point -- it's a great family tradition!
