Simple pleasures are the best!

I love the sweet aroma of a bowl of potpourri filling the air…

…or the sweet aroma of a scented candle.

 I love the simple pleasure of making pancakes on a weekend morning…

…or seeing a field of tiny white flowers sprouting up and getting down to view them up close.

I love seeing my perennials bloom each year…

…or seeing raindrops glistening like diamonds on a plant.

Seeing rolling hills and fields of green are a pleasure to my eyes.

I love looking at anything old & worn…

… or buying a note card that I love so much, I just don’t want part with it.

I love the simple pleasure of eating a  piece of chocolate slowly…

…or drinking a glass of ice water so fast that I can feel the coolness travel all the way down to my stomach!

 

I  love how delicate  Sweet Annie looks…

…and how a simple  bouquet of lilacs can look so beautiful.

I love sunrises…

…and of course sunsets.

But…I would have to say that being at home is the simplest pleasure of them all.
