~A Magical Evening

 This past Friday evening was a magical one indeed. I spent it with my husband at the Walker Homestead’s “Old Fashioned New England Christmas by the Hearthside” with the most wonderful folks!

In the wake of hurricane Sandy I’m very thankful  that we were spared the brunt of this devastating storm. I’m so sorry for those who are now suffering with their loses. It makes me count my blessings and think about what I’m most thankful for.

I’m thankful for…

my family♥ …

… the roof over my head to keep me warm…

… and my faith.

I’m thankful for spending time with my family during the holidays. I love the togetherness, the abundant food, and the love that we share over our holiday meals.

~ Fall in New England!

 

Fall is exciting! It's apples and cider. It's an airborne spider. It's pumpkins in bins. It's burrs on dog's chins. It's wind blowing leaves. It's chilly red knees. It's nuts on the ground. It's a crisp dry sound. It's green leaves turning, and the smell of them burning. It's clouds in the sky. That's why... I love fall.
