The Sleigh Rally at Old Sturbridge Village

My husband and I decided to hop in the car yesterday and go to the sleigh rally at

Old Sturbridge Village

This was the perfect venue for all of this snow that we’ve had here in New England  lately.

The fields with the horses prancing around with their jingle bells jingling  and their hooves kicking up the snow,  reminded me of a Currier &  Ives Christmas card…ah…it was a quintessential New England scene!

  9. Amazing pics.... so beautiful! Were the visitors to Sturbridge able to ride in those sleighs? What fun that must be! Interesting to see all the different types of sleighs that were there.... and those gorgeous buildings.... We were in Boston this weekend, but not for fun stuff like that. Left there to come home in a blizzard-like storm....thankfully we drove out of it fairly quickly. I truly love MA and all it offers!
