~Small Town New England

Yesterday I went to visit my friend Maria who  had her booth “Primitives by Maria” in the

Templeton Arts & Crafts Festival.

Templeton is celebrating it’s 250th Anniversary this year, what a quintessential  New England town this is.

Her booth happened to be sitting in front of

Country Mischief

The owner Gail is waving in the doorway!

What a wonderful shop she has!!

You can visit their website to read more about Country Mischief  by clicking the link below.

We sat down and had some coffee and dessert with Gail, I had the tart. Oh my word it was the best tart I’ve ever had!

"To the rest of the country, New England has always stood in much the same
relation as England has to America -- that of spiritual homeland and mother
country."

  4. OH!! I LOVE these pictures....my mother and sister live in Templeton, and we visit Country Mischief EVERY time I make a trip up there! We eat lunch in the cafe and then spend over an hour looking through the shop -- it's one of the only things I desperately MISS since moving away!

This post has just brightened my whole day -- THANK YOU! :-D
