~Glorious New England in the Fall

~*~

"Smoke hangs like haze over harvested fields,
The gold of stubble, the brown of turned earth
And you walk under the red light of fall
The scent of fallen apples, the dust of threshed grain
The sharp, gentle chill of fall.
Here as we move into the shadows of autumn
The night that brings the morning of spring
Come to us, Lord of Harvest
Teach us to be thankful for the gifts you bring us ..."

I would like to thank Sarah, from

All Roads Lead Home

for sending me some of  her  acorn salt dough bowl fillers, I love them! She also sent me this delicious smelling candle from

Village Candle

The mulled cider scent is heavenly, perfect for a nice crisp fall day.

  9. Good morning Bonnie, Your pictures are so inspiring and beautiful.. If I can't be there in person your pictures take me there in spirit.
I love the music that you have on your blogspot too. It really adds to the pleasure of seeing Fall in Massachusetts.
I see and hear that there is a little bit of Christmas mixed in also.. I'm enjoying that too. Christmas will be here before we know it now that Halloween is so close.
    Enjoy your day.
    Blessings, Charlotte in Va.
